TimeWatcher offers the possibility to be monitored from other programs by using the DDE
interface. Other programs can lock onto certain controls of TimeWatcher in order to be
updated on the events, which are occurring in TimeWatcher. Using this interface makes it
possible to create custom add-ons to the TimeWatcher program, e.g. a receipt printing
program, a log program etc.
To
show how the interface can be used we created an example Visual Basic Program. The example
program just records all events, which are happening in TimeWatcher.
