Is it possible to create Direct Access Codes which work on more than one computer?

No, Direct Access Codes are always just valid on the computer on which they were created. If you need such functionality you should consider using the Network Member function Unlike the Direct Access Codes, the time, which is stored on a Network Member account, can be used on every computer which is connected to the TimeWatcher Network.

Is there a version of TimeWatcher for the Mac / for Linux?

To reduce the file size and thereby speed up the download, TimeWatcher is distributed as a compressed zip-achieve. For that reason you need to "unzip" it before you can start with the installation. To unzip, please use the program Winzip, which can be downloaded from www.winzip.com. After unzipping the TimeWatcher file, you can start the installation by executing the program. "setup.exe"

Are the TimeWatcher Network functions working with DHCP?

Not really! There can be problems occurring, if the computers running TimeWatcher do not have a static IP address assigned to them. So we strongly suggest to use static IP addresses with TimeWatcher. After a slightly more complicated setup the static IP addresses have also the advantage that the Windows OS system boots faster.

I have a problem installing TimeWatcher on my Windows 95 system. Some dll-library seems to be not working

The TimeWatcher installation routine experiences problems with some very old Windows 95 installations. To update the dlls on such a system just download and execute the file AXDIST.EXE Afterwards the setup program of TimeWatcher should run without any problems
